the answer to him being a kurd. is this your assumption that he insisted on being one? is this why you are taking a more negative side against even if he did so? i have been at a press conference of one of his films and he mentioned nothing about being a kurd but that he is a persian born in tehran. i also believe this very respected artist, thinker belongs to this world and sees himself as one such person and with thoughts such as yekishim how can anyone start a discussion about such an honorable person with a race issue?! i am very disappointed.i fully admire the works and thoughts of this unique artist and end this note by saying yekishim to all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.160.188.184 (talk) 13:10, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

this subject (maximalism+yekishim)is the hottest thing i have come across with in a long time. it is all more hot coming from an iranian! we (two journalists) have interviewed daryush shokof, and all the followings are true: 1.his name shokof has been stripped from his German travel document and after 15 years.he has produced under shokof for over 15 years in Germany and world wide. 2.his Yekishim event (called unification 2000) has been an event under which city of Berlin coperated instructing it and the event never took place.we have all the materials from the event activities (world wide) and had the onors to be with him throughout this ordeal+his associate Taies Farzan in yar 2000. 3.his association for the event engages all the names mentioned in the article as we have film materials, and pictures documented from all associates for this event. 4.a book is in developement about yekishim, and Shokf,s life. 5. there are much more amazing details about this incredible artist that can be added to all his articles, but would not be approved by him as the book will have his complete life story and would be published soon. 6.he is currently seeking to leave Germany. 7. there are enough documents and prints to prove that shokof ( like many these days) has been a target of more than just one country,s black list individual (for all his activities), and due to his daring stands against Iran,s current regime,his artstic activities, and........ 8. there have also been many writings about him that were done by many other journalists and none of these writings and reports were released to be published. 9. our own interviews and reports about shokof were never published by any press (even though we were under contracts to do the reports and interviews with shokof) in the world regarding all and or any of shokof,s activities (regardless being political, and or artisic)of world concern. to see any documents regarding this grand thinker you can write us to : fahte@zandi.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.160.236.232 (talk) 08:39, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
