Yehudit Kafri

Yehudit Kafri Meiri (Hebrew: יהודית כפרי מאירי) is a 20th century Isreali poet and a writer.
She was born in 1935 and lived as a child in Kibbutz Ein HaHoresh in the Galilee area of Israel.
After she got married, she moved to Kibbutz Sasa where she wrote her first book, called (Hebrew: הזמן ירחם). She later moved to Kibbutz Shoval and wrote several poetry books and a book describing her childhood memories called (Hebrew: כל הקייץ הלכנו יחפים) which was relatively successful and sold several editions.
Yehudit has left Shoval and now resides in Mazkeret Batya where she continues to write books and biographies. Kafri has won several poetry prizes including the President's prize.
