I would at least expect a newspaper article substantiating this, but no it's not out there. I have found 1 government link which I have listed which suggests a minor increase in U.S.A however it does not appear to be outside the cyclical rise and fall which is obvious in preceding and following years and therefore probably would not have a big impact on childcare facilities etc. This mini boom could just as easily be put down to a decline in services by government and then using the 2000 spin to hide their failings. Without an improvement in the overall article I find it hard not to see it as a candidate for deletion.--Matt 14:22, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
