Talk:Ye
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Maybe this page should be disamiguated to talk about "Ye," the middle english term (beginning with yith/thith)
I was trying to find out what this meant, "I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? " Wikipedia and other places says ye means the, but that does not make sense to say, 'and the are not your own', or 'which the have'.
- ye is also the nominative of you (as the article mentions). In this case, all those examples of ye can be replaced with you. -Acjelen 13:59, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I see thanks, you can erase this
[edit] (Є) - a letter in the Hungarian language?!??
I'm Hungarian, and unless my family has been lying to me throughout my life, Ukrainian Ye (Є) is definately not a letter in the Hungarian language.
[edit] Ye You
Definitely. Not supposed. Ask me for instance. Would ye? Did ye?
