Yazh Sudhakar (Tamil: யாழ் சுதாகர்) (born Suthakar Sanmuganthan; October 17, 1959) is a Tamil poet, writer,orator and famous Radio Jockey. He is famous for his Tamil radio programs all over the world since the late 90's till now.

[edit] Early life

Yazh Suthakar was born Suthakar Sanmuganathan on October 17, 1959 in Jafnna in Sri Lanka. His father,Sanmuganathan Nagalingam, also know by his pen name Yazh vanan, was also a famous writer of his time. Suthakar did his schooling at Nelliyadi Methodist Misson School [ARASADI PALLIK KUUDAM] from 1965 - 1970. He completed his High School from Jaffna hindu College on 1976.

He did his Bachelors in Arts of the batch 1981-1984 at Jaffna University . He even worked as part time teacher for Logic and Economics. Right from his young age, he started to develop his writing skills.

Suthakar came to India in 1984.He started his life as a journalist. He used to be a short story writer, publishing interviews of the famous stars, etc.. Initially he worked in magazines such as Savi, Devi as a reporter He worked as a Sub Editor in a Cine magazine Bommai .He then worked as an Editor for a Female Magazine Mangai from 1993-1998

The voice of Yazh Suthakar was first broadcasted in the year 1994 for the Radio Station Neyam F.M.After that he made several Radio programmes for stations like London IBC (1997-1998), Inbatamil Oli of Australia.

Currently he is working as a Radio Jockey in Suryan FM(Sun Network), Chennai.
