  • 1921 - The station begins operating as Yatsu-Kaigan Station
  • 1936 - The station is renamed to Yatsu-Yūen Station
  • c.1939 - The station is renamed to Yatsu-Kaigan Station again
  • 1948 - The station is again renamed ot Yatsu-Yūen Station
  • 1984 - Yatsu-Yūen Amusement park ceases operation, and the station is renamed to the current
  • 1985 - All Limited Express trains begins passing
  • 2002 - All high-class service trains passes
