Yate railway station serves the town of Yate in South Gloucestershire, in south west England. The station is located on the main Bristol to Birmingham line between Bristol Parkway and Cam & Dursley, and is operated by First Great Western.

The station is unstaffed, the manned ticket booth was replaced by a ticket machine in mid 2007.

Opened on 11 May 1989, the station has two platforms. The first Yate station opened on the 8 July 1844 and closed on 4 January 1965.

In the Strategic Rail Authority’s 2005/06 financial year, Yate was ranked as the 1130th most-used station in the UK.

The station has a supervisor from 7 am to 11 am on weekdays who provides daily and weekly single and return fares. For tickets lasting longer than a week purchase must be made at Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads, Gloucester or Cheltenham Spa.

The station is served Monday to Friday by a train every hour in both directions to/from Gloucester and Westbury (with 2-hourly extensions to/from Worcester & Great Malvern, and to/from Portsmouth & Weymouth).
