Yasutoshi Nishimura

Yasutoshi Nishimura (西村 康稔? born October 15, 1962) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Akashi, Hyogo and graduate of the University of Tokyo he joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1985, attending the University of Maryland while in the ministry. In 2003 he was elected for the first time as an independent after running unsuccessfully in 2000. He later joined the LDP.
