Yasugi (安来市 Yasugi-shi?) is a city located in Shimane, Japan.

As of 2008, the city has an estimated population of 43,903 and a density of 363.50 persons per km². The total area is 120.78 km².

The city gained a city status on April 4, 1954.

It is home to Gassantoda Castle.

Yasugi steel is made by Hitachi Metals,Ltd in this area.And here is the ancient steel making(tatara) center in the past time.The goddess Izanami's grave of Japanese Myth exsit.And also Many kinds of ancient legend including the story of the God"Susanoo" exsit here.
