Yasue Funayama

Yasue Funayama (舟山 康江? born 1966) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Koshigaya, Saitama and graduate of Hokkaido University, she worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries from 1990 until 2000. She was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007 after an unsuccessful run in 2004.
