Yasniel Toledo

Yasniel Toledo (López) (b. ) is a Cuban amateur boxer who won the world Under-17 bantamweight title in 2005.

After winning the Under-17 world title in 2005, the following year he lost in the final to Russia's Vladimir Saruhanyan.

As a senior the fighter from Camagüey stood in the shadows of the near-invincible Guillermo Rigondeaux but when Rigondeaux didn't participate in 2007 he won the national championships against Yankiel Leon and the international tournament Ahmet Comert cup.

In 2008 when Rigondeaux was suspended by the authorities he was defeated by veteran León who is also Cuba's Olympian.
