[edit] Notability of Rihanna day
A tag has been placed on Rihanna day requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewHowse (talk) 17:43, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Nowhere in the source that you're citing on Rihanna does it say anything about a 'Rihanna day'; it just says that she was honored in Barbados. Veinor (talk to me) 16:47, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Rihanna has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. The recent edit you made to Rihanna constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. The Helpful One (Review) 19:32, 24 April 2008 (UTC))
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Jonas Brothers, you will be blocked from editing. Gwernol 01:36, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

- This is not an autoblock, you are directly blocked. If you wish to request unblocking follow the instructions in the block notice above. Be warned, however that given your history of vandalism, it is unlikely you will be unblocked. Gwernol 18:05, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Saying that you didn't see the warnings isn't going to work well as an unblock request. Every time someone edits your talkpage (such as placing a warning) there is a bar that appears saying that you have new messages.--Sunny910910 (talk|Contributions|Guest) 00:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but I thought that the mail you sent me was because the changes I made to the Rihanna article was changed back because I got that same message a lot of the time. I did not read the guidelines for what is vandelism because I was sure that vandelism was basically writing curses or inapropriate things on an article, which is why I was surprised to see that I was blocked for vandelism. I had no idea what I was doing was wrong. I was just trying to correct information that was incorrect and it kept on getting deleted and I did not know why, but I kept on posting it because it was the correct information. Someone posted something on the Rihanna article that was completely false according to my sources, and I was just trying to fix it. I feel l=that it isn't fair to block me from editing wikipedia because I created my account at least 2 months before I started using it and I am a new user. I did not know anything about the policy at all until I got blocked! I was only here to make small changes to the Rihanna article! I was not purposly doing vandelism!!
- You were blocked because of your edits to the Jonas Brothers article, not because of your edits to the Rhianna article. How could you possibly think that your edits to Jonas Brothers were anything but vandalism? You don't need to read any policies to know that repeatedly calling them a "homosexual" band is vandalism. Its obviously inappropriate. The final warning I gave you above specifically mentions the Jonas Brothers article. You really have no excuse for your appalling bad behavior.
