[edit] AfD Nomination: Ztar

An editor has nominated the article Ztar for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ztar. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Ztar during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. [edit] Llama Man and the Ztar deleting process...

I would never nominate an article for deletion only because it is a stub; that is far from a valid arguement. Also, tagging an article for deletion is almost never vandalism (the only exception I can think of is if the AfD page didn't exist, or it was nominated by an anonymous user). Even if it was, please assume good faith, as editors sometimes don't realize an edit is harmful. Maybe I should have waited at least an hour before nominating, but what else could be added to the article? I really would like your opinion on this, as if you think that it might be a featured article candidate, as you stated on the AfD page, you must think there could be more added to it. If you state what you think should be added to the article (as long as it is valid and not just cruft, the AfD is more likely to close with "Keep". –Llama man 21:03, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
