Yarpole

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yarpole [1] is a small village in rural [2] north Herefordshire between Leominster and Ludlow, Shropshire.

St Leonard's church [3] chancel was restored by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1864.[1] The church has a separate bell tower [4]. The main timbers of the bell tower have been dated by dendrochronology to 1192, making this one of the oldest timber-framed structures in England. [5]

The village has a gastro pub. [6] [7]
