Yarlet School

Yarlet Hall Preparatory school is a preparatory school located in Staffordshire, Near Stone. As well as Large grounds the school boasts one of the best scholarship records in the area with 14 awards awarded from senior independent schools in the year 2006. The school has approximately 100 pupils and feeds schools such as Shrewsbury School, Repton And Denstone college.

It is also a successful sports school, With representative teams in our girls, netball, rounders, hockey, cross country and swimming and for the boys there is rugby, cricket, football ,cross country and swimming also in our very own out doors heated swimming pool!

There is always great academic potential for all students that come to this school, and great art and d.t facilities. The school has its own chapel which the pupils go to every day in the morning for about 15mins to pray and discuss what is going on in the day. They have their own netball court which in the summer is transformed into a tennis court which is open to all at break times. Their very own astro turf which is regularly played on in the winter for hockey matches and is open to be played on at break times as well, and a great new sports hall for basketball, and its own theatre in which summer plays are performed. It also has its own pre-prep and nursery. There is English and Drama, Science, Latin (optional), History, Maths, French, Geography, R.S, I.C.T and Sport.
