Yao Jie (Chinese: 姚洁, pinyin: Yáo Jié) (born 10 April 1977) now is a female badminton player from the Netherlands.
She is going out with the Dutch badminton player Eric Pang.[1]

Yao played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, defeating Jiang Yanmei of Singapore in the first round but losing to Wang Chen of Hong Kong in the round of 16.

She won a bronze medal at the 2006 European Badminton Championships in women's singles[2].

As a part of the BC Amersfoort team Bruil reached the final of the European Cup 2007 held in Amersfoort. Together with Lotte Bruil-Jonathans, Larisa Griga, Dicky Palyama and Eric Pang the final was lost against the team of NL Primorje. In the semi finals they were too strong for CB Rinconada.
