Yannick Tremblay (ice hockey b. 1977)

Yannick Tremblay is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. A native of Alma, Quebec, he played a season in the Elite Ice Hockey League in Britain as well as part of one in the ECHL.

Tremblay played major junior hockey with Chicoutimi Saguenéens in 1992-3, three and a half seasons with the Sherbrooke Faucons, and a final half a season with Rimouski Oceanic. After four seasons of college hockey with Université de Moncton, he joined Lacroix de Windsor of the QSPHL in 2002-3. The following season, while playing most of the time with QSPHL franchise Saint-Francois de Sherbrooke, Tremblay also played 5 games with Mississippi Sea Wolves in the ECHL, recording an assist.

2004-5 saw Tremblay join EIHL side London Racers, where in 21 games he tallied 5 goals and 6 assists. He continued to play for the Sherbrooke as the QSPHL became a full fledged professional league.
