Yanko Valkanov (Bulgarian: Янко Вълканов, born July 25, 1982 in Stara Zagora) is a Bulgarian footballer. He currently plays for FBK Kaunas before joining Kaunas he previously played for FC MTZ-RIPO, having joined them in 2006 from Slavia Sofia. His preferred position on the pitch is right-back, but he can play as a central defender too.
