Yang Song was a minister of the Three Kingdoms Period serving under Zhang Lu and was known as a very greedy man lusting after gold and possessions constantly.
Yang Song once took a certain bribe from the enemy which then isolated Ma Chao, and later caused the immediate downfall of Zhang Lu's kingdom after taking a bribe from Cao Cao, carefully alienating Pang De, Zhang Lu's best general, as well as purposely misadvising Zhang Lu in such a manner that, when Cao Cao besieged Hanzhong, he had no chance to withstand oncoming armies. Cao Cao was very angry at how disloyal Yang Song was, and executed him for "selling his loyalty".
