[edit] Original Size

Isn't there a sign outside the Cannonball saying that when it was in CT, it was a significantly larger coaster, and each beam was cut by X number of feet to make if fit in Salem? If nobody knows off the top of their head, I'll try to research that, but I swear it's true...

The sign reads that each bay was shortened by 6 inches to allow the coaster to fit into Canobie's smaller footprint. Back when the coaster was called the Greyhound, a sign used to hang from the parking lot turn stating the coasters 3000 feet was the longest in New England.
