Is this a neutral article? Or is it strong anti-mining? Nowhere we read that thousands of people found a job here, that the mine helps to develop the Cajamarcan area. ... . Euyasik (talk) 20:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC) (edit)

Some pictures of the mine itself would be much appreciated.-Jersey Devil 21:22, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] photos

I did send some pictures. Do you want more? I have "tons" of photos. ... .Euyasik (talk) 23:24, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Re the photo of the "renaturalised area, Aug 2005", is that really up at Yanacocha? The exposed rock certainly does not look like the top of an old open pit and I do not remember any trees like that up there. In fact, my lasting impression was of a treeless grassland. [edit] Neutral article??

No, it is not a neutral article and the bias is quite strongly anti-mining. There is no information about the mine or its employees. I fear that mining is like a red rag to a bull as far as eco-activists are concerned so I'm not surprised. Mafestel (talk) 17:51, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
