Yamuna Action Plan

Yamuna Action Plan(YAP) is the largest river conservation project in India. The project received over Rs 700 crore(USD 175 million approx), ever since its inception in April 1993 from the Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC).

The project amidst controversies of corruption and poor project management continues to be a major topic of discussion in New Delhi, which is all set to host the Common Wealth games in 2010.
