Yamauchi (山内町 Yamauchi-chō?) is a former town of Kishima District, Saga Prefecture, Japan. On March 1, 2006 it was incorporated with Kitagata into Takeo City.

  • 1889-04-01 - The modern municipality system is established. The area consists of two villages: Nakato and Sumiyoshi.
  • 1954-04-01 - Nakato and Sumiyoshi merge to form Yamauchi Village.
  • 1955-03-01 - Part of Takeuchi Town is incorporated into Yamauchi Village.
  • 1960-09-01 - Yamauchi Village becomes Yamauchi Town.
