The town of Yamasa is located in the Monte Plata area of the Dominican Republic. Yamasa is north of the capital city of Santo Domingo.

Primarily a rural agriculture community, sugar cane, plantains and "Madame Francis" mangoes are common staples grown in Yamasa.
