Yamaoka, Gifu

Yamaoka (山岡町 Yamaoka-chō?) was a town located in the former Ena District, Gifu, Japan. On October 25, 2004 the town merged with three other towns and a village from the district into the expanded city of Ena, Gifu and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,381 and a density of 88.27 persons per km². The total area was 60.96 km².
