Yamaha Y125Z is a 125 cc 2-stroke underbone motorcycle produced by Yamaha. Debuted in 1998 as a predecessor of Yamaha Y110SS, the Y125Z was the first 2-stroke underbone motorcycle ever being installed with catalytic converter. Beside been sold in most South East Asia country especially in Malaysia & Singapore, it also sold in Greece.

The Yamaha Y125Z is widely used in motorcycle racing tournaments held in Malaysia or Asean level. In Malaysia, the Y125Z is widely used in the Expert category of Malaysian Cub Prix tournament series.

The Y125Z is often being publicized in Malaysian illegal racing movies, especially in KL Menjerit and Remp-It. However, it is in Remp-It movie which widely uses the Y125Z for most characters, especially main characters, while in KL Menjerit the participants of the Y125Z users are not as significant as the riders of Yamaha TZM 150.
