Yaletown-Roundhouse Station, formerly Yaletown Station, is a station currently under construction on the rapid transit Canada Line in Vancouver, Canada. The station is due to open when the Canada Line opens, in 2009.
[edit] Location
The station will be located on Davie Street at Mainland Street, approximately 80 metres northwest of Pacific Boulevard. The station is located 17 metres underground. The station will serve the surrounding, rapidly growing residential and retail areas of Yaletown and Downtown South. The station's name derives from the neighbourhood's name, as well as its history as a former train hub (a community centre in the area is also called the Roundhouse).
