Yakhouba Diawara (born August 29, 1982 in Paris) is a French professional basketball player currently with the Denver Nuggets of the NBA.
He is a 6 ft 7 in and 225 lb (102 kg) shooting guard/small forward. He started his career with French team JDA Dijon, and after his first season as pro went college, first at junior college of Southern Idaho and after two years transferred to Pepperdine University. He went undrafted after graduating from Pepperdine and signed with JDA Dijon again. In February 2006 he moved to Italian Climamio Bologna. He was signed by the Denver Nuggets on July 26, 2006.[1]
He is fluent in French, English, and Italian.[2]
