Yadkin Valley Railroad

The Yadkin Valley Railroad is a railroad operating two lines from Rural Hall. One of the two lines leads to Elkin and North Wilkesboro, the other to Mount Airy. At Rural Hall, the railroad connects with the Norfolk Southern Railroad. The Yadkin Valley Railroad is owned by Gulf and Ohio Railways, who also own several other lines.
