Yadhira Carrillo Villalobos (born May 12, 1974 in Aguascalientes, México) is telenovela actress and former beauty queen.

Yadhira Carrillo was chosen Nuestra Belleza Aguascalientes (Our Beauty of Aguascalientes) in 1994. After this she entered the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) to prepare for a career in performing arts.
During her studies at CEA she stood out as a talented and driven student. Carrillo was rewarded for her hard work by producer Carla Estrada with an offer for the role of Teresa in the telenovela Te Sigo Amando (I still love you). She worked with Estrada again playing Josefina in María Isabel, alongside Adela Noriega and Fernando Carrillo. Yadira Carrillo is considered among the best Mexican actresses.[citation needed]

After appearing in several episodes of Mujer, casos de la vida real (Woman: Real Life Cases) portraying a villain in the TV-special Mas allá de la Usurpadora, she received her first co-starring role in El Niño Que Vino del Mar (The Boy Who Came From The Sea).
The talent and acting capacity of Carrillo drew the attention of Ernesto Alonso, prompting him to offer her the role of the antagonist in El Precio de Tú Amor. (The Price of your Love) Mr. Telenovela offered her the role of protagonist in his 2002 novela La Otra (The Other One), where she played two characters who are polar opposites. These are Carlota Guillen a good natured daughter who is abused, subjugated and manipulated by her mother and Cordelia Portugal a machiavelian manipulative treacherous gold digger.
In addition to her career in Mexico, Carrillo debuted abroad with a role in the Spanish telenovela El Secreto (The secret), in which she plays a perverse ex fiancèe of the protagonist, played by Mexican actor Eduardo Capetillo.
In 2004 Carrillo was the protagonist in Amarte es mi Pecado (Loving you is my sin), alongside Sergio Sendel and Alessandra Rosaldo, produced by Alonso. That same year, she played a small part in Rubí.
In 2005 she starred in Barrera de Amor (Barrier of love).

Yadhira Carrillo decided to participate in the Mexican beauty pageant called Nuestra Belleza (literally Our Beauty) from which it saw the invitation that Lupita Jones did in the program a New Day, in 1994. From that moment, it felt the necessity to be in a scene, which was able after several stages of selection and to become Our Aguascalientes Beauty.
When demonstrating its intelligence and beauty, “Our Mexico Beauty”, she obtained 2nd place in the pageant, where Alonso knew Mr. Ernesto, who offers to his vote and its confidence him to work later, promise that already has fulfilled.
He makes hearing to enter to the CEA (Center of Artistic Education) of Television and obtains a scholarship, situation that makes make a very determining decision in its life: to return themselves to its Aguascalientes birthday or to remain to follow its dreams in the city of Mexico.
