Yoichi Takahashi (高橋陽一 Takahashi Yōichi, born July 28, 1960) is a famous mangaka, best known for his work Captain Tsubasa.

Yoichi Takahashi has always been a sports fan, but mostly a fan of soccer. Captain Tsubasa; his most famous work lasted for 8 years in the shōnen manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump. Weekly Shōnen Jump has serialized the two major series Captain Tsubasa, and Captain Tsubasa: "World Youth" Saga. The later works of Yoichi Takahashi have been published in the seinen manga anthology Weekly Young Jump. All of Yoichi Takahashi's manga are about soccer except for Chibi, Sho no Densetsu, and Ace! which are about Boxing, Tennis, and Baseball. He is recently drawing Captain Tsubasa: Golden-23 in Weekly Young Jump. No manga by Yoichi Takahashi has ever been released in the U.S..
