Xujiahui (Shanghai Metro)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Xujiahui (Chinese: 徐家汇; pinyin: Xújiāhuì) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. It is located in the Xujiahui District of Shanghai.
The station is one of the busiest in the metro system. Six large shopping malls and eight large office towers are each within no more than a three-minute walk of one of the station's fourteen exits (The largest number of any Shanghai metro station). During peak hours, it is crowded beyond belief. The overall plan for the development of the system calls for Xujiahui station to be a transfer point for three metro lines.
