Born in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio in 04.24.1981 too a loving mother and father. As a youth he enjoyed acting in Aladdin (where his mother hand sewed his costume), listening to the Smashing Pumpkins (who inspired him to buy a Gibson guitar and start his first band Moon Patrol), and drawing. Early on his mother taught him the ways of the sewing machine, and soon he turned out pillowcases, bags, reconstructed pants, and tee's. Soon highschool was over and it was time to choose a career. After a good friend plainly stated, "Why don't you just make clothes...." he chose to attend [[Kent State University]], the little known stomping ground of the head designers for Jill Stuart, Zac posen, etc. Finding an unknown talent for fashion design, he turned out the winning Menswear collection for KSU's Portfolio show of 2002 with his good friends & co-designers. The summer of Senior year brought a hospital visit (instead of a tip to Florence Italy, and a new found desire to live and create beauty. As senior year approached and the thoughts of his first major collection were upon him, Josh found inspiration in the beauty of the geisha of Kyoto in the book Memiors of a Geisha, and decided to create a small collection inspired by [[Alexander Mcqueen]]'s gown for Bjork's album cover to Homogenic, and the kimono. Through the trails and tribulations each designer faces, he presented the much applauded Perestroika collection in 2003. As he sat at the desired head table next to Leon Hall of E! TV's Fashion Emergency fame, he knew this was the job for him.

After a friend stated, "why don't you just do Fashion design"....he attended Kent State University's Fashion Design program, and learned Women's Couture. Upon leaving school, he interned for [[Betsey Johnson]]. Then went on to design for Plugg, Candies,Akademiks, and is the current Menswear Designer of Triple Five Soul. He is interested in utilizing his knowledge of couture design, patternmaking, and sampling to create a new aesthetic for men. His influences include Tank Girl, Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander Hercovitch, Dsquared
