The Xtreme Performance Vehicle, or XPV, is a radio controlled car and plane in one made by Jakks Pacific. When accelerated to 20 mph, it takes off and flies, reaching heights of up to 20 stories.[citation needed]
Due to the lack of ailerons, elevators, trim, and rudder, it can be very awkward to turn on land and very difficult in the air, as it uses differential thrust. This means that it turns by applying more power to one motor than the other.
Recently the XPV 2.0 Shadow Hawk has been released, sporting a new colour scheme, 80% longer run time and more thrust.
There is also a XPV mini which is a lot smaller than the original XPV it was also slower and had less battery life but was easier to fly and was mainy designed for younger chidren
