Talk:XPress Telecom

[edit] Copyright concerns

This page appears to be a copyright violation. The first paragraph is lifted from http://commercecan.ic.gc.ca/scdt/bizmap/interface2.nsf/vDownload/ISA_5107/$file/X_2663005.DOC, adapted minimally so that the document refers to XPress Telecom instead of Bravo Telecom (an article which I am marking as copyvio concurrently with this article). Although this is a U.S. government publication, and U.S. government works are normally ineligible for copyright, this document appears to fall under the exemption for works of standard reference data produced by the Secretary of Commerce (15 U.S.C. § 290e). Indeed, the document explicitly asserts copyright ("International copyright, U.S. Department of Commerce, 2006. All rights reserved outside of the United States").

The second paragraph is copied from a different source: http://www.arabnews.com/?page=6&section=0&article=69947&d=12&m=9&y=2005 (which also explicitly claims copyright). The last sentence may not violate copyright but lack context in the absence of the material that precedes it. —Caesura(t) 18:57, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I've re-written the article from a neutral perspective as close as possible to Wiki's articles guideline with original wording using the same Company article template, I've requested a copy of the company's Logo from the company itself.
Sincerely

Great. I initially reported the copyright problem to Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2007 November 27/Articles, so I'll retract that report now. Thanks. —Caesura(t) 03:25, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
