Xpax

Xpax is Celcom's brand of prepaid mobile phone services currently operating on both 2G and 3G network (for both 019/013 prefixes). Xpax subscribers are allowed to be in either one of two package; Mid or Lite Plan, where the rates for voice/video calls and text messaging differs. Customer can choose the package that suits their needs the most and change between them at will.
Current services offered to subscribers include:
- Intra Migration (Migration between prepaid packages)
- 8pax (8 favourite numbers assigned with special call and messaging rates)
- Call Me Tones (A ring back tone service)
- Airtime Share (Transfer and request of prepaid talk time)
- Funtalk (Voice SMS)
Xpax also provides for 3G over WAP video content subscription. Some video contents are charged per click while others are on a subscription basis.
Currently the Xpax prepaid retails at RM10, the most expensive among the three mobile operators. The Xpax 3G retails at RM38, however unlike Maxis, Celcom's 3G prepaid is available for both 019 and 013 prefixes.
