Two bowls of xôi gấc (right), a Vietnamese dessert made from glutinous rice and gac fruit. Photo taken at the photographer's home in the Hoc Mon District of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The dark-colored portion on the top of each bowl is the gac seed.
The two bowls to the left contain sweet glutinous rice porridge with peanuts (chè đậu phộng). The two dishes, when served together, are collectively called xôi chè (xôi referring to the xôi gấc and chè to the chè đậu phộng).

Dear morning_rumtea,
I am one of the editors at the English-language Wikipedia. I'd like to add a photo of the Vietnamese food called "xoi gac" to the Wikipedia page about the "Gac" fruit, and I found that your photo is very nice (and one of only a few photos on the Internet of this food). I've never tasted this dish myself but it looks delicious.
So, I'm writing to ask if you would give your permission for us to upload the photo to the "Gac" page ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gac ), which doesn't have any photo now. If you agree, we would add a credit to you and a link your Flickr page. I think this would be of great to help educate non-Vietnamese about this food. Regarding copyright, you would retain copyright of the photo (as the photographer), but, as with any other photo uploaded to Wikipedia, anyone would be allowed to re-use the photo in the future, for any educational, commercial, or other reason.
Thank you so much for your consideration! I really enjoyed looking at the photos you've taken of other foods.
Best regards,

Dear Badagnani,
It's my pleasure to know you and give you my picture of Xôi gấc to upload to Wikipedia. It's a very good purpose to share the knowledge about good food from all over the world to everybody.
As a designer and work in advertising field, I love to travel and know other culture as much as I can. Wikipedia is a friend of mine which help me know about the world.
I take that picture when my Mum cook it for my cousin's first birthday. As a Wikipedia's fan I love to share it with everybody and don't need any copyright. You can use it as you want.
By the way, if you need any information about Vietnam food, I love to share with you what's I know and I can ask the old people for information.
I'm glad to know you. Best regards, Nha Le Hoan HoChi Minh city, Viet Nam
