[edit] reference

Hello Xleax, I noticed your addition of a date of birth for Marianne Williamson. Do you have a reference for that? Thanks. Ste4k 19:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I'm not sure where to reply to you since I haven't done it before. My references are http://www.adze.com/Celebrities/MarianneWilliamson.htm

http://www.earthstarconsulting.com/aboutHDSarticle44.htm

kind of odd articles but they have the same date. Do i need to add a reference to a date of birth and place of birth?

Reply here is fine, and I did get your e-mail, Thanks! :) I'll go ahead and put them into the article. If you'd like to see how the templates are used, you can read about them at: WP:CTT. Thanks again. Ste4k 21:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] suggestion

Hi Xleax, you might want to make a userpage for yourself. Just click on the red "User Page" link. It doesn't have to say much, but, if you do, then your name will no longer be red-colored (eeeek!) :) You can read about User pages at WP:USER. Hope this helps. Ste4k 21:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Right, I shall start with a full stop :) Thanks for all the help man, I really appreciate it. Xleax 22:43, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi again.

Hi Xleax, About the reason that you cut out the statement in Marianne Williamson.. It doesn't matter if it seems POV to you, what matters is that we quote source that made the statement. If you go down into the references section for that statement and click on the URL, you will read the words for yourself. Please understand that I am not saying that you are wrong, but I am saying that according to policy we need to follow the guidelines. Another good thing to make sure is that if disagree with an existing article that you ask questions about it in the Discussion area of the article before making any changes to find out more about it. Hope this helps, and also, I have a gift for you:

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia by updating the statistics in the Anže Kopitar article. Unfortunately your recent edit(s) has been reverted. This is because the guidelines from the WikiProject on Ice Hockey states that season statistics may only be updated when the season has ended. This is for maintaining a high standard and accuracy on all hockey players articles on Wikipedia. We understand that your edit was in good faith and hope that you understand our objectives. If you have any questions, please visit us at the WikiProject on Ice Hockey's talk page. Krm500 19:58, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't aware of the policy. Thank you. Xleax 21:07, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Infrastructure factual statement

I guess it has to be stated in a style that reads like an encuyclop... I've run into this in the past that common knowledge needs to be stated in a manner that makes it undistinbguishedChivista 20:36, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
