Xingning (traditional Chinese: 興寧; simplified Chinese: 兴宁) is a county-level city, under the jurisdiction of Meizhou, in Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China.

Xingning used to be called Qichang (齐昌).

Xingning county was established in 331, and upgraded to a city in 1994. Xingning was once the capital of Southern Han.

Xingning is located at the eastern part of Guangdong province. The East River (Dongjiang River) and the Han River flow through it.
Xingning borders Mei County, Fengshun, Wuhua, Longchuan, Pingyuan, and Xunwu of Jiangxi province.
Xingning is the second largest city in east Guangdong, with an area of 2105 km&nbsup2; and a population of 1.13 million.
Xingning has 28 towns all together, such as Xingcheng, Nibei, Xinxu, Diaofang, Luofu, Luogang, Ningzhong,etc.
