[edit] Nardwuar

Hey...you know Nardwuar? That's pretty cool. I'm not sure where I got the thing about Sum 41, I must have misremembered something. Adam Bishop 22:44, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] RHCP

Thanks for doing the revert on that Philosophy section... I was going to let it sit for a couple hours before I'd have reverted myself - mostly to avoid a revert fight. Xinit 00:39, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

No problem, same thing happened to me yesterday. The POV has been freaking driving me up the wall. maxcap 00:43, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

If you are going to remove the film/tv, insisting they should be in the band member's pages instead, then why not add them to those individual pages instead of just removing them from the RHCP page? --Mattarata 14:28, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Something Green and Leafy

What makes you nominate Something Green And Leafy This Way Comes for speedy deletion and not the other half-dozen album stubs I created for this same band?

  1. Because it was a very short article providing little or no context (CSD A1)
  2. Because I didn't notice the other stubs.
  3. Because, in your hurried cut-and-paste, you couldn't even be bothered to match the article title with the first sentence of the so-called stub.

--Calton | Talk 04:46, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Holy Shiite

At the times that I deleted it, the article had no text whatsoever. That means it was empty. User:Zoe|(talk) 19:40, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Randists

About what you said on my talk page: I do use the term Randist, but not as a personal attack. The term is meant to be an "unloaded" term to replace the loaded term "Objectivists". It isn't a matter of insulting, but a matter of using neutral terminology. I do this not to insult anyone, but to make sure nobody - whether it's them or me - is insulted when refering to their ideology. -- LGagnon 15:40, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah... it strikes me as an odd approach aimed at silencing opposition. I'm mostly curious what the "attacks" are in your statements, as I do not see it. Perhaps it's like the Star Trek fans who don't like being called "Trekkies"? -- Xinit 15:46, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:RHCP EL

Honestly, I'm kind of conflicted as well. It is ad heavy, and tour dates aren't absolutely necessary as part of a biography, but I was hoping that kind of fluff might help placate the fanboys (but it probably won't) maxcap 19:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Comments

I appreciate your help with disputes, but it's best if you post comments for others to their own talk pages, as they are not likely to look at comments on my talk page. Thanks. -- LGagnon 20:00, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cult category

Oh, I know it'll anger them; I'm just not concerned if I anger them or not, given that they will vandalize and make personal attacks anyways. -- LGagnon 21:39, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Touth

excuse me why are you getting involved in all this? you are really not helping are you? i am really not happy at all! and why are you getting everyone to look at my user page huh? Touth 02:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

i just dont like what you put on that talk page. if you dont want me to get rid of it then i want you to get rid of it. now leave me alone....sob....sob....Touth 04:02, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

I won't listen to you and get rid of it, because you won't listen to anyone. --Xinit 04:03, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

and why did you call me a puppy?

I didn't... go read that again. --Xinit 04:39, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External links

Go right ahead. Good to know I'm not the only EL-nazi around here. Add {{User external links}} to your user page aswell if you want, it will give you a little.

This user is against excessive use of external links..

Good luck! Havok (T/C/c) 21:57, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Green Day citations

I've been planning to add citations for a while, and I've done some preliminary work before. A good bet if you want to verify stuff is to check out fansites, which tend to reprint full articles. If they provide the appropriate info (author, title, date, publication, etc.) those can be added as references. WesleyDodds 01:17, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CoTW

You might want to personally ask members of the Alternative Wikiproject to check out and contribute to the COTW page, particularly asking them if there's anything they might wnat to nominate to work on. WesleyDodds 00:47, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FLA

Thanks! Oh, and I don't know if you started thoses pages on the newer FLA albums, but I think the infoboxes are supposed to be orange. Let me know what you think! The-dissonance-reports 03:41, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

PS - You seem to have a lot of experiences with external links...I've worked pretty hard on the page for the industrial band X Marks the Pedwalk, maybe you could take a look at that section of the page? :) I'm more concerned with the references section than anything! The-dissonance-reports 03:43, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Check This

Hilarious. He's a passionate guy, you've got to give him that. maxcap 19:30, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Maybe just coincidence maxcap 21:05, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] dayglo abortions

as per your additions to the Dayglo Abortions discography, keep in mind that the proper form for an article is to have the content on top, and categories and stub sorting on the bottom. also, all articles need some kind of introductory sentence. Joeyramoney 21:59, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Green Day vandalism

Hey, you might want to watch out for edits by User:24.64.223.203 on the Green day page. This user constantly changes the genre links so they actually redirect to Modern rock and power pop while the text still says Punk rock and Pop punk. This user has also made posts on the talk page that seem biased against the band. WesleyDodds 22:49, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CoTW Revisited

Hey, I asked WesleyDodds if the Alternative music collaboration of the week page was still going, and this was his response:

"Oh, basically we were deadlocked for a while and it kind of fell to the wayside. However, now that we have a clear idea of what to wrk on, maybe we can get it going. Xinit was the one who set it up; you should message him as to how to organize this. WesleyDodds 21:58, 23 July 2006 (UTC)"

So, do you think we can get it going again? Or do you wanna scrap it? --Reaper X TC 23:25, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Synesthesia article

Hi, I am a bit puzzled by the rv you made on the article [1]. Was it a wrong manipulation or did I get something wrong? Regards, -- lucasbfr talk 22:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Ok I got it, the previous anonymous user had already reversed the vandalism (twice), and you rolled back his revert in fact ;) See you! -- lucasbfr talk 22:59, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: The Pixies

Agreed. By all means, you go for it. However, with the redirect Pixies (band) as it is, that move might require further assistance, namely from an Wikipedian Administrator. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have disambiguation to do. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 00:02, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I have reverted my edit back, having placed the info in the article about the artist who names Pixies as an influence. PT (s-s-s-s) 22:45, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I Am Spoonbender

I thought it might be. That's why I added the notability tag and not the speedy delete one. Good luck with the writing. Cheers, Augustus Rookwood 21:28, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I've tried adding a little bit to the IAS article. Maybe I can add a bit more sometime in the future, since I think they deserve it, but I work glacially slow and am trying to fight a computer addiction, so... well... I probably won't accomplish much. AllGloryToTheHypnotoad 02:32, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Alternative music and sources

As part of the Alternative music WikiProject, we're gathering a list of sources on this page. Could you take a look and perhaps add any written references you have access to? Thanks! CloudNine 09:50, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Voltaire name section

What? Why on Earth have you removed it? It is relevent, and sourced. It deserves a place in the article, whether or not his real name has been revealed. On the other hand, it will need editing now his real name has been revealed- as I say, I am the only person reguarly editing it, and I haven't really had the motivation to do anything with it for a while. J Milburn 20:25, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Ok, cool, I'll leave you to it then. All's well that ends well! I will join you in the cleanup process at some point, but not now. J Milburn 20:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 'Real proof' of Voltaire's name

I am not quite sure what you mean. I honestly can't think of a better source for his real name, short of government documents. This is the only employment he is under in which he is not 'Voltaire', and so the only reliable (public access) place we can find his name. What are you proposing? J Milburn 22:13, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] multi dimensional awareness

it means that the kids can see into ( well, see into is a simplified example) other realities, other earths where humans (or at least human like things) live the idea stems from that they are sometimes thought to come from other realities...( i been reading a lot)Charred Feathers 01:47, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV tags to Structural Integration and Rolfing

Hi Xinit, you recently added tags to the above two articles. The tags include a statement and a request,"The neutrality of this article or section is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page." I look forward to you beginning the discusions mentioned as at present your reasons for the tags are not indicated in your edit summs or on the discussion pages. SmithBlue
