[edit] Assignment #3
Go to the Recent changes page (there's a link on the left of every Wikipedia page), and after checking the edits of 30 users who have a red link to their talk page (meaning no one's ever messaged the person before), post one of three messages or your own variant:
Anon/IP users:
{{subst:anon}}
{{subst:edit summary}} ~~~~
Registered users:
{{subst:w-basic|cookies=true|heading=true}}
{{subst:edit summary}} ~~~~
Vandals: An appropriate WP:WARN template - remember to sign your messages. You can give them a greeting as well.
Notice the blank lines in the code. No proof is required of your completion of this assignment - it's on the honor/honour system - but you can ask me any question. Xiner (talk, email) 01:21, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Assignment #4
As you probably know, Werdnabot has gone offline. Meet MiszaBot, which is quietly archiving my user talk page. Set it up for your user talk. Xiner (talk, email) 19:51, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
New must-read: Wikipedia:Attribution. Xiner (talk, email) 04:39, 19 March 2007 (UTC) Turns out my concerns about the way the policy was implemented are not mine alone. The debate is worth reading for its drama, though. Xiner (talk, email) 23:08, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
