[edit] re:Links of interest
Yes, I did read through some of link you provided, and I posted it on the talk page for other users' perusal, but I'm sure it got lost in the back and forth between Ksyrie and myself. Thanks for showing me that site, it is pretty good. Parsecboy 04:49, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
What Ksyrie is trying to say about the poll is that it's not a vote that decides how the dispute is resolved, it's a tool to see if consensus exists. The poll did this very well, because all editors involved at the time (Ksyrie included) voted to only use the American figure for American casualties. All editors except Ksyrie voted to include the American estimate of Chinese casualties. You're right, it is almost funny. My apologies for taking so long to respond, but I'm home on leave from the Army, and I don't get on here very often. Parsecboy 11:54, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Red links
If they are referenced, they should be unlinked and moved to the end of each list. On a related note, the list would be better served as prose, especially considering the large amount of "notable artists" that don't have articles. The whole point of a link-list is to provide further information on each artist. Just64helpin 21:33, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Barney vandal
Could well be. You might want to look at Wikipedia:Long term abuse#Disney/Barney vandal for more of the same. After a while it's easy to see which IP's are making OK edits and which are not. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 05:18, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: DaveyJones sockpuppets
CheckUser has revealed that he edits on AOL, which means his IP address changes every time he connects to the Internet. If you want to file another WP:RFCU on him, go right ahead, but I don't think that'll help out much. Heres the previous CheckUser results on him- if you want to file another one, start it above my previous one, and let me know, and I'll guide you through setting it up. As for the master list of sockpuppets, DaveyJones1968 is actually a sockpuppet of another person, and all the accounts that have been blocked have been added to a category, and here is the listing of sockpuppets. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. Happy editing! Nwwaew (Talk Page) (Contribs) (E-mail me) 15:45, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] reqphoto
The reqphoto tag goes on an article's discussion page, not the article page itself. And Talk:Billie Piper is already marked accordingly. --Yamla 20:18, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Seeking assistance
Thank you for helping revert vandalism on the Bruce Lee article. The user WalAloe has been re-adding improperly-sourced information. Could you help keep an eye on the page and revert any dubious information? Thank you. Shawnc 06:27, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Persecution of Christians
Well, I'm sorry you reverted my edit. I'll redo it and add citations. And the Mexico part should have said that Utah was a part of Mexico, that was a mistake. And the "before the Church's founding" does make sense -- there were followers of Smith called "Mormons" before the official founding of the Church. I should have clarified. I'll redo it sometime later and add references, but I found the current version slightly POV. Joseph Antley 01:45, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Umm no, I don't think I said that POV was my motivation for editing the article. And I did say slightly POV, and I see slight POV in the "gun fight" and that the exodus was a direct result of Smith's death. But I didn't realize you were going to jump on that statement that wasn't really related to my edits. Joseph Antley 02:00, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] punisher image
Hi! thanks for stopping by. I noticed that most images being uploaded here are commonly being questioned about their licensing. So I felt that the best solution to avoid these legality issues is to place a self-created image †Bloodpack† 23:53, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- LOL! Well, you can say that. Any images that have a better quality are most welcome to replace mine. I can almost feel others would come and, lets say, compete(?) my artwork =D †Bloodpack† 00:00, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks again! Im glad you understand. Btw, if you have time, pls drop by some time to my deviantart page =] peace! †Bloodpack† 00:08, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] quick question
Yes, that's what I was referring to. I did some searches for an English version of the article and couldn't find one, but I did run the web page through a translator at babelfish and while the grammar was difficult, I was still able to make sense of the article. wbfergus 09:28, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
A discussion is happening right now on the fate of UFC 84. Because the outcome of this discussion could affect other MMA event pages and how/when they are created, your input would be greatly appreciated. The discussion is happening here. Thank you for your assistance! Gromlakh (talk) 17:53, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

- Project News
- WikiProject Christianity Coordinators : The project coordinators are generally responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of the project, and serve as the designated points-of-contact for procedural issues. They are not, however, endowed with any special executive powers, nor with any authority over article content or editor conduct. The Lead Coordinator bears overall responsibility for coordinating the project; the Assistant Coordinators aid the Lead Coordinator and focus on specific areas that require special attention.
- The nomination period for coordinators is currently ongoing at Election 2008
- Nominations for open positions will be open through 23:59 (UTC) on April 30 and project members should vote for any candidates they support by April 11 2008.
- The election will be conducted using simple approval voting. Any member of the project may support as many of the candidates as they wish. The candidate with the highest number of endorsements will become the Lead Coordinator (provided he or she is willing to assume the post); the next four candidates will become Coordinators.
