XHTO-FM, also known as "104.3 HIT-FM", is a Rhythmic Top 40 radio station serving the El Paso, Texas, area of the United States. The station, which is owned by Radio Groupo Mexico and whose community of license is Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

[edit] History

XHTO was a Spanish contemporary station prior to its flip to a Mainstream Top 40 direction in 2001. However by 2003 they evolved to a Rhythmic Top 40 direction, putting it in direct competition with cross-border rival KPRR. Although both stations offer the same mix of music, XHTO has more of a Dance/Rhythmic Pop lean approach to theirs.

In an unusual opening, the station played during 76 straight hours the song "Funky Cold Medina"
