Michael Hancock edits on Wikipedia under the username Xhancock and hails from the Great State of Michigan, in the United States of America.

Template:User WikiProject Central Asia Born February 18, 1981 and raised in rural southeastern Michigan, he studied English and Music Composition and graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2003. He was a member of the United States Peace Corps, serving in Uzbekistan from January to February of 2005, and then from June 2005 until June 2007 in Kazakhstan. Michael is a contributor to the Central Asian newsblog Registan.net and keeps a personal blog that followed his work and studies in the Peace Corps at Peaceclog.com. Michael became a member of WikiProject Central Asia in November of 2007. He specifies in writing new articles and editing content regarding Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and their people, as well as subjects regarding Uzbek and Kazakh language, and their connection to the former Soviet Union.
