Template:XFDclosed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Decision was (no consensus)
The result of the debate was (no consensus)
[edit] Explanation
Used to open sections of deletion proposals. Can be used for closed debates and for any type of deletion. Made to go with {{XFDbottom}}. When this template is in use, it creates a hidable debate box with JavaScript to eliminate bulky discussion pages getting in the way when they are not needed. {{XFDbottom}} serves to close the div tags and (if enabled) provide the message which says that the debate is closed.
[edit] Usage
The parameter {{{1}}} specifies the result of the debate. In the absence of {{{1}}}, it will default to "no consensus". The parameter {{{2}}} specifies which type of page is being debated (article, template, etc.). In the absence of {{{2}}}, it will default to "article". The section header for the debate should be left intact when inserting this template. After this template is inserted, simply carry on the discussion normally. At the end of the section, place {{XFDbottom}} to close the div tags. The section should look like this:
=== Section name === {{XFDclosed|result of debate|type of page}} ~~~~ Debate goes on normally {{XFDbottom}}
