[edit] Introduction
I'm a proud owner of a Scion xB, the remarkably boxy (read: ugly!), wildly hated (by some, or many?), yet quit successful (relative to what?) model of passenger vehicle made by Toyota? I fall in love at the first sight with these cars and snatched mine as soon as they were available in my area.

Hot spicy food is my favorite, so are these beautifully written books.
I was lucky to find a copy of the English edition of Feynmann's in the Library when I was attending Zhejiang University. Apparently no one else in my class was aware of it's existence (or was not interested in), I was able to renew it countless times and used it as my own copy. To make the long story short, this book, along with several other equally well written books, helped me beat many smarter and/or more resourceful contestants to win a scholarship to study in the United States.
I learned not only TC++PL from Bjarne Stroustrup's book, but also many software engineering principles. I kept a copy on my desk so I can read a section or two while waiting for my workstation to be freed from busy building tasks.
The more experienced I'm in software engineering, the stronger the feeling I have for the needs to gain a comprehensive knowledge in computer science. So I scheduled a thread in my mind to execute an endless loop reading TAoCP.
[edit] Education

I owe my knowledge and problem solving skill to the excellent education I received from these fine institutions of higher education. I earned my Ph.D. in Physics from the City University of New York (101111113) which afforded me the opportunities to work alongside with the best minds inside the prestigious government and industry research facilities such as BNL and Bellcore. In Zhejiang University from which I got my Bachelors degree in Physics (101111103), I acquired such quality of "deriving the enjoyment out of the complicated mathematical evaluations".

To learn more about me, you can take a look at the log of the not-so-random stroll of my mind kept at http://www.xzing.org, only if your mind can bear with some very unpolished (read: brutally rough) writings.
