This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.

The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership. Lack of such evidence is grounds for deletion.

This image, Xf-104_mock-up.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (User:Nimbus227) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

It is a low resolution copy of a a promotional photograph;
It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the aircraft in any way; (The F-104 series of aircraft ceased production circa 1974).
It is of historical and cultural interest. The photograph is of the wooden mock-up of the Lockheed XF-104 taken circa 1953. This mock-up no longer exists. The photograph was downloaded from an earlier (2003) version of the Lockheed Martin website (formerly Lockheed Aircraft Corporation) [1]and is no longer available.
No free image alternative is available.
