Xerxes of Armenia

Xerxes (Armenian: Շավարշ, Shavarsh; died c.212 BC) was the King of Sophene and son of Arsames II. During his reign Antiochus III the Great invaded his capital Arsamosata. Xerxes recognized Antiochus as his sovereign and received his sister Antiochia as his bride , who later assassinated him.
