Xenobrood #0 was launched as part of DC Comics' Zero Hour event. The series was not well received, and ran only 7 issues.
[edit] Fictional background
The Xenobrood are four genie like superbeings confined to a mysterious magical artifact. The artifact is found in ancient Sumerian ruins by an archaeologist named Zecharia Leight, who manages to release the Xenobrood. They were created ages ago by a race of ancient astronauts. While they have many strange powers, they are also as innocent as children.
