EA servers shut down

In the history section, the current "Force users to upgrade" line seems too POV to me. There are other valid reasons like the cost of running servers and keeping the community from being divided between games. As time goes on, more companies are going to take their servers down. Perhaps this should be included in a controvery or criticisms section. Radjago 02:51, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Original Xbox games Live on 360?

Just wondering, because it doesn't mention in the article (as far as I could tell while I scanned) if you can play Xbox games Live on an Xbox 360? Nova Prime 09:22, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

That would depend on whether the game was designated as backwards compatible by Microsoft. Check their Xbox Website for more details.

PS: Can someone put the actual link to the list here? I don't have access to that website at this time due to filter restrictions. Kyle 15:43, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

De-Centralization for the most part

Lots of different games are normally hosted _NOT_ on Microsoft's servers. For example, I host many different types of games on my two original Xboxes via cable modem (Unreal Championship,Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, Rainbow-Six-3, Rainbow-Six-3: Black Arrow, Return to Castle Wolfenstien, etc. ) Initially, in 2002-2003, MS was actually running XSERVER100 through XSERVER300 (each were Xbox Live gamer tags logged in from a dedicated Xbox machine that had a large bandwidth pipe) for running the Xbox Live release title Unreal Championship and MS may have also done similarly for Mech Assault because the Live Service was so new, user familiarity with a dedicated server setup was poor, some user connections were created behind a firewall with which it was impossible for other users to connect / join a game session (no public IP address), and user's 16-player dedicated server Xbox often required larger upload bandwidth (e.g., dedicated T1) than any one particular user had at their disposal so as to reduce network lag. Ubisoft had a number of UBISERVER01 to UBISERVER15 (each Xbox Live gamer tags logged on via dedicated Xbox machine that had a large bandwidth pipe) or so game servers running when they released Rainbow-Six-3. Some fake UBISERVERS later showed up that were run by ordinary gamers who managed to create Xbox Live accounts with names nearly exactly the same as Ubisoft's servers gamer tags. Although a costly and labor intensive practice, having gaming companies own Xboxes and Xbox Live gamer tags and running servers probably persists to this day. The practice is labor intensive because the server health and online operational status has to be monitored and corrected from time to time due to software crashes, Xbox Live service shortages, intermittent dirty game disk read failures during level changes, connection troubles, etc.

A newer game, Halo 2--These games are hosted during match making in real time by Bungie network testing algorithms within the Halo 2 game to mutually assign "game host" status to one of the game player's Xbox who is searching for a match-made game whose mutual connection with the rest of the gamers is "best" (i.e., it should have the best connection bandwidth to all other players' Xboxes). The game map selection for Halo 2 is done via the game manufacturer, Bungie (a MS company) because the mixture of standard game maps has changed from time to time. It is because (a) a user's Xbox is selected to host Halo 2 games and (b) Halo 2 consumes a higher than average XBL gaming bandwidth that the all players are guaranteed to have network lag during game play if no one player in the match making has an adequate bandwidth to support / host the required number of players.

In many respects, a hosted game or room is a VPN hosted by the hosting Xbox machine so that once your Xbox finds and joins the game / VPN then the game runs via peer-to-peer networking. Xbox-Connect, and Game Spy offer similar connectivity as the Xbox Live service by using VPN tunnels to a game hosted by someone hosting a "System-Link"-hosted game like the original Halo that was not Xbox Live enabled, but network aware.

Lots of the "game finding services" are provided by either MS or the game manufacturers on / for the Xbox Live Service. For example, Ghost Recon at one point had huge difficulties in finding games, but this was reduced somewhat by a game patch by UbiSoft after a few months of receiving complaints in this regard.

The leaderboard servers for statistics I believe are run by the individual game manufacturers. Often game skill level and first person shooter 'kill' accuracy are computed using game statistics on a per-game-map / level basis, and applied to the current game being played versus your opponent's statistics. Some game cheaters are able to copy game statistics from other better players via web downloads for computer, USB memory cards, and file transfers, however the gamer tag / player's weekly, and monthly stats remain unchanged, and can be checked for consistency vis-a-vis cheating / stats copying. For Unreal Championship, the leader board servers even tracked statistics on dedicated server operation such as on-line hours:minutes. Some statistics servers such as Ubisoft's for Rainbow-Six-3 have a gamer's stats reset when a gamer has not played the game for 4 months.

EA Games Battlefield2 Modern Combat requires that you not only be logged into Xbox Live, but also into their own "EA Games servers." Often on the Rogers-Yahoo High Speed Internet service, I lose connection with the EA Games connection servers, and must log completely out of Xbox Live just to reconnect with the EA Games connection servers. The discussion boards for EA Games indicate that this problem exists for other Internet providers also. EA Games also insists that you approve that MS share your credit card information with EA Games--but the reason for this is not given... --Oldspammer 08:10, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

A whole lotta history...

that seems to be missing. Reading the "History" section give the impression that Xbox Live dormant till 2004. However, perhaps some knowledgeable members can add and elaborate on the following:

  • Xbox Live initially started as a limited BETA a few months before it released to the public. People who were lucky enough to chosen received a xbox live starter kit with the game "mechassault". Xbox Live was made available to the public about November 15, 2002
  • From the time it was launched, Xbox live for the Xbox has gone through one major update, adding its current stylish dashboard, a voice chat lobby, and moving network settings to the general console settings. I have heard rumors that it also added some firmware updates to counter modding.

Maybe there is more but I have long left xbox live. --Kenn Caesius 16:46, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

How one sets up Live?

Shouldn't the article explain how one sets up live? No a step by step, but a general overveiw. Sorry I'm not logged in I'm waiting for Wikipedia to send me my new password. -Rocor.

Centralization

I'm researching getting a 360 and was reading up on Xbox Live here, when I noticed this line: "Players pay monthly fees for massively multiplayer online games (regardless of the platform), which, on Xbox Live, translates to paying in addition to the yearly fee, such as Phantasy Star Online's US$9 a month." Which, seems to contradict what Microsoft says on the issue here: [2], "Even if you're not a full-fledged Xbox Live Gold member, you'll be able to participate in the growing phenomenon that is massively multiplayer games." While you pay twice if you get a Gold account, it's not madatory and those with Silver accounts can still access MMO's by just paying the particular MMO's monthly fee. This needs to be fixed, but I am not familiar enough with the subject to make an accurate adjustment. Danny 04:03, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

downloads for money

This article doesn't really clearly say that the stuff you download (anything from more clothes for your horse to whole maps that you cannot play against your friends unless you pay for them) costs a lot of points, which in turn costs real world money. It also doesn't bring to attention the criticism of this system, accusations of games being "neutered” for the sake of selling the bits that were cut out later, the cost of “completing” your game with multiple costly downloads after you have already paid a premium price for a collectors edition, the fact that these downloads cannot be transferred or lent to friends when you lend the game out/sell the game.

And on a personal note I think that as long as people are dumb enough to pay for these things, the game companies will keep holding maps and characters back and then selling them to use after the release. Which in turn will just feed the cycle, every game and his uncle will want to make money even after it’s release.

But seriously, any mention of points you spend makes it sound like free magical fun money that Microsoft give out for free that you can spend for fun, but it’s real money you are exchanging for these fun points to “complete” your “ultimate collectors edition”. JayKeaton 17:22, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Game developers spend a LOT of time developing games, and then they spend a lot more time after that updating and releasing EXPANSIONS for the game, you pay for expansions, right? This is the same thing, you're just paying less - and getting less. Of course SOME developers will hold stuff back, and resell it later, but a lot (most) probably wont. Overall, if you don't want to pay for the extra content, you don't have too - it's not a contractual obligation to buy the "micro-expansions" (if you will), it's a personal choice. Trocisp 18:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Could someone confirm this for MMOs?

I read a section of this article, and it said that FF XI no longer requires a subscritpion. Can anyone confirm this? Because last time I heard, which was months ago, there was still a monthly fee. -- (unsigned)

I believe the statement here is that a subscription to Xbox Live (the yearly fee collected by Microsoft) is no longer required in order to play Final Fantasy XI. This has nothing to do with the monthly fee which the developer hosting the game charges. The game continues to require a monthly fee. --Slordak 13:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Xbox Live Availability in Hungary

Alright, who keeps putting Hungary down as "is set to be Live enabled in 2007"?

MyGamercard.net has Hungary on their leaderboards, and there are already 55 users (those that use their Gamercards) there. They also get all their info about countries and upcoming games straight from MS as they are an official Microsoft Community Developer - so stop changing it back to incorrect information!

- I was putting Hungary as "set to be Live enabled in 2007" because that's what I v been told personally by Microsoft Hungary representative. Its not like I felt playing with you guys?! Just wrote what the MS guy in charge told me. Downloaded content corruption on local xbox hard disk

Downloaded content is often needed by existing games. This content consist of new level maps or custom characters or game software patches / fixes. This new content is downloaded onto the xbox hard disk drive.

After a level map has been downloaded, it is possible that the hard disk file gets corrupted by either disk wear or age or software error. When a map is corrupted and cannot be loaded without freezing up your xbox, you must use the xbox dash board memory menu to find and erase the corrupted content, then re-download the content to get a fresh working copy.

This happened to me on my newer, second xbox for one of the Unreal Championship patched level maps that wouldn't load otherwise.

If the content is premium, I don't know if Microsoft will charge you again for downloading it again?--They may do! Oldspammer 08:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

You shouldn't be charged for re-downloading content that was corrupted, if it's downloaded to the same console. I'm not certain if it must also be the same memory device; I'm fortunate enough not have needed to do this. Anton P. Nym 22:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

No, there was an unexpected outage / "login issues" in 2005 after some upgrades were applied to the Live service to support Xbox 360. The login servers got too busy and I was unable to sign-in for a day or two. Late night 2006-12-27 when I log-in I cannot even find a game, nor join a friend's game, but I can invite to chat or create a game (that no one is able to join). An opti-match search in Unreal Championship results in being logged out of Xbox Live almost immediately. The only option for a logged in friend is "remove friend" in Unreal Championship for this current "game search issue." Oldspammer 08:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

connection

Is it possible for a xbox 360 live subscription to connect with the original xbox? Pece Kocovski 11:56, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Not directly. In some original Xbox games such as Halo 2, players can send text and voice messages to other Xbox Live users, and the recipients can receive and review those messages using their 360. I don't think you can go the other way around, though. Xbox gamers can also send game invites to 360 users. This is all supported through the Xbox Live service in sort of a compatibility mode, to link the two versions of the service. However, original Xbox gamers who haven't upgraded their accounts to Live Silver or Gold obviously don't get all the benefits of doing so, but I think that falls outside the scope of this question anyway.
Also, on supported original Xbox games, the 360 emulates an original Xbox in all outward respects, including its support for Live. In that case, sign-in, message retrieval, game invites, leaderboards, etc. are all exclusively managed by the game and the older version of the service, rather than by the centralized system in the 360, and connections between clients work just like they do between two Xboxes. Does that help? — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:48, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

SPAM Links and Incorrect Information

This page has links and information that conflict with Wikipedia's neutrality policy. The infringing site is xbox360achievements.org. It is also listed under the External Links, which is a SPAM link.

To keep this neutral, I suggest adding information about Achieve360Points.com, which is the oldest achievement site currently running. It is listed under the Xbox.com Community Section making it an official site. It also hosted the first NBA Live 1,000 People Online Event to set records straight. A360P has been recognized by OXM and Xbox.com (via Community 101) as the place to go for achievement data. I suggest either removing all links and information regarding X360A (a copy-cat site) or correct the listed information to be truthful (adding A360P). A360P has around first and this history should be recognized. This is not the first time this site has vandalized articles and attempted to "rewrite history" by putting up false information. Downtime

"Xbox Live has been taken down for maintenance several times since its launch"

Unlike just about any other gaming service at the time, from day 1 Xbox Live has never had a regularly scheduled maintenance window. Outside of major updagrades or a rare problem the service was always up. Hence the tone of the comment is a little unfair.

LIVE Security

The section is wrongly been added labelled "Banishment". In the way it has been added to the article contains a agenda driven POV. It has been changed to "Security". This act is being praised in the press -- and by NONVIOLATORS of the ToS -- as a proactive method to assure the integrity of gameplayers on the LIVE service. LIVE's Terms of Service are meant to assure the continued exceptinoal quality service represented, altered machiens are a violation and security threat.

I have removed this duplicate section from the main article and corrected the negative POV previously seen here.

I've marked it with {{advert}}, so do as you will. I've fixed the first instance of an advert-like sentence, but the whole section sounds like astroturfing. -Matt 16:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. It is factually accurate, and complete. I think the advert should be removed, it reads fine IMHO. Wageslave 05:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

A few changes

I changed the word from "molested" to "modified" in the security section. I understand the multiple uses of "molested", but I believe modified sounds better.

I also have mention to the iXtreme firmware, witch got around Microsoft's checks.

Live vs. LIVE

It seems that lately most of MS's marketing materials have referred to Xbox Live as 'Xbox LIVE', about the same time as the name 'Games for Windows - LIVE' was confirmed. I know it's a relatively minor change, but is anyone able to confirm if the capitalisation is now the 'official' name, with a view to replacing any 'Live' references with 'LIVE'? Barneyboo (Talk) 14:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

I believe it is now (or always was) "LIVE" Wageslave 05:40, 5 June 2007 (UTC) See: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live there are many instances of "LIVE"

I went ahead and replaced all instances of Live with LIVE, where possible, since it is obvious that the official way of writing it is LIVE in all caps. CrAzYbRoS 01:57, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't agree with this change. You may want to read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks), particularly the blurb that says "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner encourages special treatment". -- Slordak 13:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. The exceptions are with things such as iPod, eBaum's World and the like. Besides, as far as I can tell, "Xbox Live" is in far more common usage, which should always take precedent. Even Major Nelson uses "Xbox Live's Major Nelson", and even microsoft.com/xbox uses "Xbox Live". --Dreaded Walrus t c 06:35, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

It appears that the page was moved to "Xbox LIVE" (all caps) in spite of a lack of consensus to do so. Are we comfortable leaving it as-is? Or should it be switched back to "Xbox Live" (title-case)? I'm indifferent on the issue myself. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 17:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

--Wikipedia is not a support fourm. Try the Xbox or Xbox-Scene forums. Anyway, I don't think it's possible. You don't need a Live card to get on live with the original Xbox (or 360, for the matter), all you need is a credit card. (Credit cards are necessary weather or not you have a live card or not for the original Xbox. --ElijahX 21:40, 23 June 2007 (UTC))

so even if i did get a live card for my original xbox then i would still need a credit card for it?

A "LIVE Card" is good for a LIVE subscription of a certain length (specified on the card). You do not need a credit card for that, but if you want your service to continue after that, you'd need to enter payment information via a credit card at that point, or use another "LIVE Card". Gamerscore Units

Calling into question a piece of terminology: "250 Gamerscore". This uses the word "Gamerscore" as a self-describing unit. Is this officially how it's done? Or is the phrase "250 Gamerscore points" (upper or lower-case "points") more accurate? This affects how the term is used in multiple articles, so I wanted to verify before making any changes. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:32, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Note: I went ahead and corrected the unit use in this article some time back because nobody responded to this topic. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- It's used interchangeably; athough much like a High Score of arcade games, the GamerScore (Gamerscore, Gamer score, whatever) is indeed a self describing unit for all intents and purposes. -- Morgon 19:29, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Personally I would say that "achievement points" are the proper unit of measurement for one's Gamerscore. I.e. You earn 250 achievement points, increasing your gamerscore to 1000. But admittedly you could also just say you earned 250 gamerscore. Xenocidic (talk) 14:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Once i buy this 50$ card, do i still have to put a credit card number in, or do i have a choice and cannot put it in. My question is that can i have xbox live gold without putting a credit card in and still be able to play online multiplayer, such as halo 2? Please do not delete and repsond. Thank You. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.188.113.218 (talk) 02:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

You should pose this question in the official Xbox Live forums at xbox.com Morgon 14:44, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Restoring Xbox Live Video Offerings In HD

I restored the Xbox Live Video Offerings In HD link that was removed by Dreaded Walrus on 23:27, August 30, 2007. The link is to pages I maintain listing the HD content available on Xbox Live. Though the low Alexa rank for these pages may make them appear spammy, I believe the pages offer valuable information not available from Microsoft or elsewhere. I maintain the pages for no purpose other than providing a useful information to fellow Xbox Live users. The pages contain no solicitations. — Bryan H Bell 07:46, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Gamerscore, Gamercard, etc

There is no space between Gamer and score/card/tag, etc. Read any press releases, etc, and you'll find that Gamerscore, Gamercard, etc, is one word. JAF1970 06:16, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Rumors of "Get Xbox Live Free"

I'm just assuming that the rumor that if enough people change their motto to something like "Xbox Live Free," Microsoft will make Xbox Live free. Is there any truth to this rumor, or is it complete garbage? 71.89.8.194 22:14, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

i would put money on it being a load, cause xbox live is how microsoft gets alot of money, for them to make it free would be a huge loss in profit, cause there are how many hunfreds of thousands of people all paying $60(ish) per year, you do the math, and also microsoft has to pay to connect, so it would also eventually turn into a debt since they would no longer have an income from it —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clone627 (talkcontribs) 16:03, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

There is no incentive whatsoever for Microsoft to make Xbox Live a free service. For one, if they lose the revenue being generated by Live memberships, they lose the money they put toward upkeep of the servers, improvements to the network, management of the leaderboards and matchmaking systems, etc. I think having a well-maintained network is certainly worth $50 a year, when I use the network regularly. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 17:07, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

The only possability i could see is maybe haveing a 1 week free thing to try and get more people to start subscribing, but they wouldnt have people who already have live changing theyre profile info, they would be trying to tell people who currently have xboxes and 360s but dont subscribe, so either way there is no way this is true, i would give this less than a 1% likelyhood of being true, bottom line microsoft is a company and they are here to make money, and xbox live is what get them propably about 30% of theyre profit, the only free xbox live you are going to be getting is if someone else pays for you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clone627 (talkcontribs) 19:17, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

I doubt they make all THAT much from Live subscriptions. Microsoft is a pretty big company. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:55, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

They definately get a lot of money from it, $50-$60 a year (X) around 7 millin people thats alot of money to be getting yearly, plus they get the majority of the money from marketplace purchases, so yea they do get alot of money from marketplace. and im pretty sure i know where this came from, it has been announced and confirmed that Best Buy is going to be funding 3 free days of xbox live for everyone following the realease of halo 3, they are doing this as a promotion for halo 3, Xbox live, and of course Best Buy, so my guess is that someone read and misunderstood this and started passing this little myth around, or its just someone with no life trying to annoy people and waste they're time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clone627 (talkcontribs)

For me or you, $60 * 7,100,000 = $426,000,000 is a lot of money. But to a company that had a $51.12b operating income in the fiscal year 2007, it's merely 1/7,200th of their income. Which isn't really that much. But still, they really won't be offering widespread free Xbox Live access simply because some people change their slogans. --Dreaded Walrus t c 22:33, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

no matter how much money you have, 426,000,000 yearly is always alot of money, no company would ever willingly give that up just because come people changed theyre profile, people have been saying they want it to be free since the beggining —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clone627 (talkcontribs) 03:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

OXM(official Xbox Magezine) has confirmed that this is a myth and there is no truth to it whatsoever —Preceding unsigned comment added by Clone627 (talkcontribs) 20:32, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Live messenger xbox 360.png

Image:Live messenger xbox 360.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Talk:Xbox Live Cleanup?

The time might be drawing near for a mass cleanup of posts.. While some of the support-related ones raise decent questions about information that may need to be added to the main article, are resolved or less useful topics still worth keeping? Morgon 00:45, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Multiple Accounts On Same Console

There should be information regarding having multiple accounts on the same Xbox 360 console. Is the membership for the CONSOLE or for the ACCOUNT? In other words, if two siblings both want Xbox Live for their accounts on the same console, do they have to buy two separate Gold memberships? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greg Salter (talkcontribs) 21:39, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Xbox Live membership is for the account. If you were to buy a new console, you can recover your old account. If, however, you have a sibling who uses the same console and a different account, they will be limited to Xbox Live Silver, unless they fork out for the Gold account too. --Dreaded Walrus t c 23:11, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

StripClubDj

He is given credit for being the first to break 100,000 gamerscore, but there is no mention of the fact that he is a gamesaving cheater. This needs to be addressed. Шr.ĸĮicĸ 16:29, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Xbox Live Silver for Original Xbox?

I'm slightly confused, they list silver and gold for Xbox 360, do they exist for Original Xbox as well? also, i was thinking, shouldn't we have a section to original Xbox, because not everybody owns Xbox 360s.Alec92 16:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Can you play with/against others with a Silver Account? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.93.246 (talk) 17:48, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
No! That would defeat the entire purpose of having "Gold" and "Silver", since at that point, "Gold" would have no meaning. On the original Xbox, since there was no online service above and beyond gameplay, all Xbox Live accounts were paid ("Gold") accounts. On the 360, since there are services other than game playing, free accounts ("Silver") exist as well, but these accounts cannot play online against others. -Slordak 20:23, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
The Xbox only has Gold accounts, you are right. I don't know if tht needs an extra section though? carocat 17:15, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, thats what i wanted to know, well.. The Xbox live should at least be described in detail, because it describes the xbox 360 live very detailed. Alec92 17:40, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Peer To Peer

How comes no mention of the fact that Xbox Live is a totally serverless peer-peer network, and cause of the massive lag problms that affects it? --81.174.171.21 (talk) 12:36, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Child Accounts

How about adding a section on how MS has yet to implement a gradation from child accounts to adult accounts when a person has surpassed the age barrier of 18? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.94.194.138 (talk) 22:54, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

This capability is present as of the December 2007 update. --Slordak (talk) 14:34, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

'How To' section really needed?

Wikipedia isn't a support forum. Is the 'How to connect to Xbox Live' section needed? It's poorly written, and people who want to know can just go over the the Xbox website. Farslayer (talk) 09:30, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. It was only added recently. Per WP:NOT#GUIDE, I'll remove it now. --Dreaded Walrus t c 11:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
